Hello, Smut Squad, and welcome to Two Minute Tuesday on Smut Syndicate. I am Charlie and I have got her here again. Here is Danielle. Hi. How are ya? Nice weather we're having. Well, I say this every time, but this time I mean it. This is the best month to be a reader.

That's right. So we are mainly going to be to be discussing new books. Now, some of these we have mentioned before, and I know that there are lots of books that are coming out in April, and we aren't mentioning all of them, but these are books that uh we are personally excited to read, so get your TBRs ready.

Yeah. Okay, out today. Twisted Pawn by LJ Shen. This is book two in the Society of Villains series. This is an Enemies to Lovers, Dark Mafia, Contemporary Romance. The first ARC reviews are in, and if they are anything to go off of, this is gonna be a good book.

Also releasing today, Pisces of the Night by Jennifer Hartman. This story is based around music with tropes of Found Family, Dark Romance, and it is Jennifer Hartman. You know you're gonna cry. Yes, yes.

I honestly I've been really excited for this one. I've seen a lot of people talking about it, and I just I want my heart to get ripped out and stomped on, so I really feel like that's gonna be the one. Also out today, Rites of the Starling by Daphne Perry. Now, this is book two in the Shield of Sparrow series. This is a romanticy, and this is one of our most anticipated books of this month, and maybe even this year. Um, I have seen her posting a few things online, giving heads up that it is written very differently, but she intended it that way, and to keep spoilers to a minimum so that others can get the full enjoyment. I am so jazzed for this book.

Another one today, Release Me by I'm gonna butcher this. Oh, yeah. Tahere Maffe. Tahare Maffe. This is book two in the Shatter Me Republic series. This is the author who gave us the dystopia young adult romance sensation, Shatter Me.

Yes. So I've heard a lot of talk about that book. Like, I think that one's gonna be really big. Um, I have not made it all the way through the Shatter Me series, so you gotta hop on that, dude. I know, I know, I gotta get on it. Um, the auction from the Queen of the Dark Mafia Romance, Sadie Kincaid, comes out next week, April 14th. I was actually chatting with her earlier today about this one, and it sounds like it is gonna be good. This is Dark Mafia Gothic Fantasy Romance. It's labeled as Beauty and the Beast Meets Organized Crime. Man, I'm in. Yeah, sign me up. Mm-hmm.

Uh, we have a date, My Dreadful Darling by our Queen H.D. Carlton. Comes out on April 21st. We've been waiting for this one for a long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long time. Yes. Long time. I have seen a few arc readers and they are loving it. So I feel like this is gonna be a good one.

Anything by HD Carlton. It's always good. Anything. I am super excited for this next one, King of Gluttony by Anna Huong. Out April 28th. This is book six in the Kings of Sin series. This is a contemporary billionaire dark romance. I love this entire series. Uh, so I'm gonna be eating this one way up.

Oh, I just love that series. Bulletproof by Kaya Moranova releases April 28th. This is a dark military romance.

Yeah, she is uh really in her military romance era lately. Yeah, and it's it is hitting. People are into that right now. Yeah, I know. Everyone that she writes, like it just slays.

So I feel like it's this impending like World War III thing that we have going, and everyone's like, how can we romanticize the shit in the world? This is how you do it.

I'm upset. Let me read these books to make it better. You know what? She's got a plan and I like it. She's doing good things. Um, another one that I'm so jazzed for is Midnight Message by Avena St. Graves. This is set to release April 29th. This is labeled as a dark hockey romance. I am so excited to see what she does with this because she doesn't. I've never seen her do like a sports romance-y thing. Like they always have something real messed up with them. So, like, fingers crossed, he's also a piece of shit. Um, I have been seeing some clips popping up lately for this one, and I think it's gonna be a can't miss. Like, honestly, I think it's gonna be so good.
